For the adventure craving gamer in you Gavapps has created a new and contagiously fun game called Anubis Maze.The title screams brain teaser, as a maze have always fed your curiosity with yummy puzzles and challenged your sense of wonder with gates that need to be opened with mysterious, cursed keys.The story of the labyrinth game goes like this:“He meets a she and she is royal but he is just a poor Egyptian fool who is head over heels for her.This cursed Egyptian love and hate story goes like this:Zezemonekh, the poor fool, had fallen in love with one of Anubis’ daughters.Anubis couldn’t care less because he had a bunch of daughters; but he cared deeply about not sharing his fortune with anybody.Zezemonekh, the soon to be cursed one, wanted to buy a toga and went and asked his father in law a part of his wife’s dowry but in return he received a much more “rewarding” surprise.
Just like that, Anubis, the god of the underworld, took his soul and sent it into the spirits’ world.Zezemonekh was told that if he would find his way back from the labyrinth of the spirits’ world his soul will be put back into his body and he will receive the fortune he had asked for.Poor Cleo “sent” some fancy spirit cats to help her fashion hungry husband to find his way home from the labyrinth and buy that toga.”Knowing your destiny, that is to help the cursed Egyptian boy find his way back, you will embark on an adventure that lasts 4 seasons, each season having 50 levels that feature various kinds of puzzles.
This will be one interesting experience as the character needs 4 artifacts of life that will help him regain his body: water, earth, fire and air.
In order to have a complete artifact one must find all its nine pieces and combine them so that the artifact can work and enable one to gain some super-powers like: the ability to walk on water and air, the ability to create a piece of land and to destroy an element (rock, earth, raft).To find the artifacts the character has to visit all 4 temples of Anubis, but along the way Zezemonekh is helped by the spirits of cats who give him hints so that he can find the artifacts that he is looking for and solve the puzzles that lay ahead.
God or no god, Anubis sets a number of obstacles within the maze that make the adventure of the cursed Egyptian boy a little harder but, in spite of these complications, being at the mercy of gods, Zezemonekh is helped by the spirits of Egyptian cats.
Yay!The labyrinth has interesting features like:trap blocks that disappear after the player steps over themhourglasses that will give you a small time bonus so you can solve each puzzle that comes your wayelements of transportation that help you move from one side of the land to anotherthe arrows on the raft indicate the direction/directions in which the raft can be moved within the mazeunidirectional teleport gates that will instantly transport you; they only go ONE WAYbidirectional teleport gates that will instantly transport you back and forth; they go BOTH WAYSkeys and locks that have to be matched by color in order to open gates9 artifact pieces that have to be collected so that you can use their god- like powers.
An artifact recharger helps you to use superpowerssuperpowers found in Air Season enable you to fly over a square of cloudssuperpowers found in Earth Season enable you to create a piece of earth on the water.
